On Feb. 21, 2024, Moffitt Cancer Center held the annual Faculty Appreciation and Recognition ceremony hosted by Executive Leadership. This yearly ceremony celebrates Moffitt faculty members for their exceptional accomplishments throughout the cancer center. Numerous accolades are presented to individuals who excel in advancing cancer care and pushing boundaries.

The Machine Learning Department would like to congratulate our own, Issam El Naqa, M.A.,Ph.D, DABR, FAAPM, FIEEE, FAIMBE who received an award for Moffitt Researcher of the Year and the Top Publication Award for Quant Science.

2-2-24 SPIE Medical Imaging 2024 Conference

On February 20, 2024, Naveena Gorre and Bradley Basik from Dr. El Naqa's lab attended and presented at the SPIE Medical Imaging 2024 conference live demo workshop session about the MIDRC AI Interface, which serves as a one-stop shop for Deep Learning pipelines.
