Our laboratory uses general biochemistry principles in designing experiments to sort through the pathways important in mediating the nitric oxide (NO) dependent resistance to checkpoint blockade. We collaborate with the Proteomics Core at Moffitt Cancer Center to obtain measurements of whole expression of proteins, phospho-proteomics, and nitration of specific proteins which then feed into our informatics analysis.

In the figure below we illustrate an example of how we measure nitration via mass spectrometry methods.
