SPARK Intern

Are you an undergraduate student interested in cancer research? If so, Moffitt's SPARK, the Summer Program for the Advancement of Research Knowledge, might be the internship for you!

SPARK is a sponsored internship program designed to completely immerse the student in research. The program is 10 weeks long, with a 40 hour per week requirement. Due to the intensity of the program, taking summer classes or maintaining other employment is discouraged.

Accepted applicants will receive a $3,000 taxable stipend to cover personal expenses during the program. Housing, housing allowances, and transportation costs are not provided.

At the completion of the program, students will participate in Research Day activities by giving a five-minute oral presentation about their project, in addition to submitting a five-page report on their research over the summer.

Additional program information, eligibility requirements, and application instructions are available online. The application is open from January 1st to February 15th.
