Research Community Health Educator II
The Research Community Health Educator II will work directly with the Principal Investigators (PIs) to implement a research protocol to support the delivery of a multilevel intervention to increase Black and Hispanic patient recruitment and enrollment to therapeutic clinical trials at Moffitt Cancer Center. Under guidance from the study PIs, the Research Community Health Educator II will lead a team of research community health educators to conduct health education, outreach, and navigation activities to support the project.
The essential functions include execution of research activities, to develop and execute activities focused on education about cancer clinical trials, development of strategies to enhance clinical trial referral and enrollment, address implicit bias, promote community engagement, and conduct outreach.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in scientific, health related, or business administration program preferred. Minimum four (4) years of experience required to include two (2) years of health education experience and two (2) years of research experience. Research experience can include epidemiologic, observational, diagnostic, supportive care, clinical intervention.
Research Coordinator II
The Research Coordinator II will assist with a research project focused on increasing Black and Hispanic patient enrollment to Moffitt therapeutic clinical trials using community outreach and digital approaches. The position responsibilities include working with participants/stakeholders across the cancer center, recruiting and consenting eligible participants, data collection, project planning, and dissemination for research findings.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 1 year of relevant experience required OR Associate's degree required with 3 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree with no experience.
