Planning to attend a workshop or conference to present your cancer research or Cancer Health Disparities (CHD) research?
The Trainee/ Early Stage Investigator (ESI) Scholarship is intended to support underrepresented scholars and investigators in career development related to cancer research or cancer health disparities research by providing reimbursement (i.e. registration, airfare, hotel, etc.) for scholars to:
- Present research at conferences
- Attend Workshops/Trainings

GMaP Region 2 Registration Support Scholarships are also being awarded on a rolling basis.
In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and resulting travel restrictions and social distancing guidelines, the Trainee/ Early Stage Investigator (ESI) Registration Support Scholarship is intended to support underrepresented scholars and investigators in career development related to cancer research or cancer health disparities research by providing reimbursement for scholars to:
• Present research and/or attend virtual meetings or conferences
• Attend Workshops/Trainings virtual or in-person
