COMPASS aims to test an intervention to reduce distress among primary caregivers of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplant patients.
Caregivers will be provided with resources to help alleviate the stress of their caregiving responsibilities.
For your convenience, the study team will meet with you at the Moffitt campus during one of your scheduled medical appointments. At this meeting, the COMPASS staff member will tell you more details about the study and the interventions.
Patients who have a caregiver can also participant and benefit from the study. We are mindful and respectful of patients’ time. Patient participation is optional and will be limited to very brief surveys.
Caregivers and patients should be at least 21 years old.
The patient must be scheduled for an allogeneic transplant.
Caregivers must be the patient’s primary caregiver.
Caregivers must be willing to download a free app on their smartphone.
