The Christy Lab aims to reduce health disparities and promote cancer prevention and early detection behaviors (e.g., colorectal cancer screening, human papillomavirus [HPV] vaccination, hepatitis C virus [HCV] screening) to reduce cancer incidence and mortality. The research conducted in the Christy Lab focuses on reducing health disparities among disproportionately affected populations including individuals from racial/ethnic minority population groups, LGBTQ+ individuals, individuals with fewer financial resources, and those who are underinsured or uninsured.
