We are interested in all aspects of mathematical and computational modeling of cancer evolution and cancer cell biology, including cancer-immune system interactions. Some of our current focus areas are to uncover the laws of Darwinian selection in hematopoietic malignancies, such as in leukemias and lymphomas, e.g. during CAR-T cell therapy or in the context of secreted growth factors and inflammatory cytokines.

Our work is currently funded by generous Moffitt startup funding, the NCI, the William G. "Bill" Bankhead, Jr., and David Coley Cancer Research Program, the American Cancer Society, and through an alliance with Kite pharma.
